Analog Revolution is New and Different

As of this writing, it’s been nearly five years since the first Analog Revolution location in Kennesaw GA closed it’s doors. We had grand ambitions, but the last five years have been Rough, and plans changed.

But we’re back.

Sort of.

Not really.

Here’s the situation:

  • In early 2016, Analog Revolution Kennesaw closed down. The plan was to reopen online, and then in a new physical location
  • Then, instead we moved to Washington DC, where we lived on and off for four years.
  • Now, Andrew and Amber have purchased the Ellijay Coffeehouse, and Ryan is up in the north west somewhere fighting forest fires, or something.

The important bit, though, is that the coffee shop is also a record store.

We don’t use the name Analog Revolution much anymore, but there’s no real reason for that other than inertia. We still publish weird zines, we’re still selling new and used records, we’re still too ambitious.

We’re thankful for everyone who has helped us get to where we are, and we’re really proud of this step, and excited to see what comes of it. Analog Revolution has changed, but it hasn’t gone away.
