In a move that might make 2pac proud, if it does indeed turn out that he’s still with us, Johnny Cash has released a new posthumous collection.

You can listen to it here, until march 24th:

You can listen to the title track here:

The story behind this release is wonderful. It is a lost LP from the 1980s, recorded and mostly completed before being shelved by Columbia in favor of a greatest hits collection.

Johnny’s son discovered the tapes, complete with two vocal performances from June Carter Cash, in 2012.

It’s good, though a bit on the overproduced side. Listening to it is surreal.

If you like Johnny, you should listen to it, and let us know what you think.

The "brains" behind the operation. An absent minded, energetic, and often times overwhelming individual. He is in his early 20s. He discovered how amazing music could be in highschool, and has spent the last several years trying to absorb all of it. When he isn't writing about music, he is slinging code or playing vintage arcade games. Please don't ask him to dance. He doesn't like that.
